Good food and service, good times

I have been going to the Mountaineer Sports Bar for a while now. From day one till now myself and my family were made to feel like family. We were welcomed with love and amazing service. If they did not have something we liked they did whatever they could to make our express the best. I have became a regular and feel Wanda, the bar owner, is like a mother to me. No matter what they are always ready to serve, great DJ every 2 weeks on Sat nights, great food, drinks are unremarkable and the friendships you make there last a lifetime ❤

A 10 plus on a scale of 1 to 10!! Great people and food!! Has a DJ and karaoke every other weekend!

Stopped in for a drink. Upstairs on second floor. Small but nice sports bar atmosphere. Service was a lil slow, but extremely friendly. Loved the 32oz drafts!!!

We might be a little biased because we're friends with the owner/Wanda, but we would recommend Mountaineer to anyone who just wants a great place to hang out with some friends, have a great meal, drinks and great conversation! You will always be treated with the utmost respect and can cut up and carry on at the same time.

I love this little bar.

Server was a sweetheart. Food was not impressive. Came out at all different times. Husband's nachos came out last & wrong after everyone else was done eating. Fried pickles were delish but not nearly enough in the basket for the price. 1st time here and we will not be back.

46 years old but couldn't get served. Maybe better. We were the only people in the place

The previous reviews make this place seem like a gem! We did not have the same experience. Appetizers were delicious. But, main dishes were not. My sister and I both got 10 dollar salads and ive had side salads bigger than this. The meat on the salads were extremely overcooked. My other sister got a wrap and it did not even stay together and there was hardly any meat. The service was okay, friendly... But she didnt take menus off the table, didnt know what was on the menu and did not pick up the dirty dishes. Definetly will not be back next time we drive thru.

My go to place for pizza and good food.

Cute place down town. The bar tender was super sassy. I loved it! Very accommodating. I had the fried green beans which were good! Nice balcony seating.

Great salads and pizza

We just visited this bar and grill for the first time today, we just moved to the area. We will most definitely be going back! Best food we have had in town since we moved here! Even our littles were very happy with the food! Great staff and service was amazing! I had the bbq chicken quesadilla, best quesadilla I have ever had! Prices were good also!

In addition to great atmosphere and friendly staff, the food is surprisingly good for a sports bar. It is always prepared fresh and the selection of beer and wine is extensive. I had a special salad with a grilled chicken breast on top. It was excellent, the vegetables fresh and the chicken was tender and perfectly done. My husband drinks only non-alcoholic beer, and they had that too. He loves their hamburgers. We highly recommend this place, especially for watching WVU football games.

Great selection of brews. Good food. No handicap entrance. Big set of stairs to go in.

Horrible service they wouldn’t even make a pizza for us at 9:20 when she first told us the kitchen closes at 10. Then when my husband said it was 9:20 she said oh ok the kitchen closed at 9. We are from out of town and just got off of the bike trail and I guess they didn’t want our business bad enough

Beer was warm. One of the waitresses was walking around the restaurant serving people with no shoes on. Restuarant Looked dingy and dirty.

Great place!!! Stopped by with my motorcycle riding group. Food was great for the price and good beer. I did have an issue with my food when it came but the waitress apologized very much so and fixed my burger very fast making everything okay (she took the wrong notes for the kitchen when I changed the topping on my burget). It happens but they fixed it. They have several TVs to watch your favorate out of town team. This is my new bar in Berkeley Springs everytime I am in the area. Try it out for yourself.

Decent place with good prices. Everything is fried.

Had a late lunch that was delicious. Wings and chicken noodle soup. Owner was very welcoming and attentive. I forgot my credit card. The owner held it and I returned later in the day to retrieve it.

Local hangout with higher prices. Not very clean when we were there.

Wings were cold, french fries were old and hard, chicken nuggets were cold. Tables were dirty. Would not recommend and will not go back.

Hello. We have been here many times. We enjoy it when we visit. Go Mountaineers! Every time that we come to Berkeley Springs and stay across the street , we come over and it's always fun.
